Description
With brooding dark fruit, thick treacle and sweet spice notes, the name ‘Dark treacle Fondant’ very much suits this 2002 vintage Craigellachie, which has been independently bottled by Wemyss Malts. 804 bottles were produced in 2014.
Bottled at 46% abv
Natural colour and non chill filtered
Tasting Notes
Colour: Chestnut
Nose: Werther’s Originals come first with reckless abandon, but they are followed cautiously by dusty books and wood.
Palate: Lots of crème caramel sweetness, with baked bananas and demerara.
Finish: Hot spice covers a banana fudge sundae
