A rare official bottling of North British, a single grain whisky produced in the heart of Edinburgh.
Distilled in 1980 and bottled at an impressive cask strength of 60.3%, originally only available to employees of the distillery.
Bottled at 60.3% abv.
Natural colour and non chill filtered
Colour: Golden Honey
Nose: Rich vanilla, toffee, brown sugar followed by corn and caramel.
Palate: More vanilla, sugar, and a bit of coconut. Adding water brings out some lovely butterscotch.
Finish: Lingering sweetness and just a bit of heat.
