Description

The Macallan 25 year old in Tudor Crystal Decanter is an incredibly rare and superb 25 year old Speyside single malt that was distilled at The Macallan in the 1960’s, matured exclusively in specially selected sherry wood casks for over 25 years, before being bottled in the late 1980’s, early 1990’s.

It is presented in a fabulous English Tudor crystal decanter, each one hand blown to an original 18th Century design, by Wordsley of Worcestershire. The production numbers were very strictly limited for The Macallan 1824 Series which makes it extraordinarily difficult to obtain.

This absolute gem comes complete with the original etched crystal stopper & presentation box.

It is highly sought after by collectors worldwide.

This absolute gem comes complete with an etched original stopper & presentation box which is in very good condition for its age.

Extremely desirable for any collector.

Bottled at 43% abv.

Natural colour

Tasting Notes

Colour: Treacle

Nose: Rich sweetness, vanilla and fruit compote with cinnamon and nutmeg.

Palate: Full and rich with dehydrated fruit, forest floor, smoked wood spices.

Finish: Heavy raisins and sultanas, like drinking a well-aged Armagnac. The length provides plenty of time for a complete and wonderful Macallan experience.
