THE MACALLAN 1993 18 yo 43%abv 70cl (Taiwan Limited Edition)

This whisky is widely considered to be the pinnacle of single malt whiskies. Aged for eighteen years exclusively in sherry oak casks from Jerez, Spain, this whisky is rich, full of colour, and an excellent addition to any collection.

The box is very exquisitely preserved in vacuum-sealed plastic, and the box has a gorgeous golden silk interior. The label includes wonderful Mandarin script indicative of its Taiwan release.

Bottled at 43% abv.

Tasting Notes

Colour: Old oak

Nose: Dried fruit and ginger with just a hint of cinnamon-dusted citrus candies.

Palate: Rich dried fruit with a bit of orange and oak spice.

Finish: The dried fruit continues to linger, followed by sweet toffee, more ginger, and the faintest whiff of wood smoke.
