Description
An extremely rare and superb example of a 25 year old Speyside single malt distilled at the legendary Macallan distillery in 1964 and bottled in 1989 for the prestigious Anniversary Malt range. It was imported for the Italian market by Giovinetti & Figli, Milano.
Matured exclusively in specially selected sherry wood casks, from Jerez, Spain, for over 25 years this example comes complete with an excellent original wooden presentation case.
Extremely collectable.

Tasting Notes
Colour: Rich sherry
Nose: Sweet balsamic drizzled over dried and candied fruits. A few roasted nuts and some wood spice.
Palate: Bitter chocolate and brown butter along side stewed pears, plums, and honeyed spice.
Finish: Bittersweet evolving fruits
