Description
Distilled in 1996, this version of the 18 year old is presented in the long-running shiny purple box used between 2006 and 2017.
Bottled at 43% abv.
Natural colour
Tasting Notes
Colour: Auburn
Nose: Dried fruits (mostly grapes and raisins, much like an Armagnac) with hints of coffee.
Palate: Coffee, biscuits, Irish stout ale, and a little bit of caramel macchiato.
Finish: More dried fruits with oaky spices and bitter hops.
