Description
Distilled in 1990 and earlier years, matured in sherry oak casks, this is about as classic a classic Macallan can be. A bottle has even gone at auction at Sotheby’s.
Bottled at 43% abv.

Tasting Notes
Colour: Old oak
Nose: Lots of stewed fruits and sherry. There’s a bit of subtle chocolate that sneaks through before the whole thing is wrapped nicely in warm spices.
Palate: Sherry, spice, and a bit of caramel
Finish: Plenty of length and spice
