Description
The Macallan 18 year old Speyside single malt distilled in 1989 and laid down at The Macallan distillery, was exclusively matured for more than 18 years in sherry wood casks from Jerez, Spain, before being bottled in 2007.
The iconic 18 year old, and earlier, offerings from The Macallan (1989) always continue to see a high demand and consistent rise in popularity, and this one is no exception to being very collectable indeed.
Bottled at 43% abv.

Tasting Notes
Colour: Light mahogany
Nose: Dried fruits and ginger with hints of citrus, vanilla and cinnamon.
Palate: Rich dried fruits, spice, clove, orange and wood smoke.
Finish: Full dried fruits and sweet toffee, with a hint of ginger and wood smoke.
