SPEYSIDE Trutina Summer 46%

A well-balanced single malt from the SPEY range released in late 2016 (alongside their first peated whisky – Furmare) matured in bourbon casks. The name comes from a Latin way of expressing balance, and the whisky certainly falls in line with that idea.

Bottled at 46% abv.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Chocolate cheesecake, candied orange and fresh barley.

Palate: Almonds, buttered bread, orchard blossoms. Crisp and refreshing.

Finish: Medium length with notes of sugared peels.
