Description
This lovely scotch comes from a distillery nestled in the town of Oban on Scotland’s western shore within the Firth of Lorn. Oban is locally known as the ‘Gateway to the Isles,’ being a hub for tourists leaving for the Inner and Outer Hebrides, including the Isle of Mull.
Bottled at 43% abv.
Tasting Notes
Colour:Â Olive gold
Nose: Oranges, lemons, and pears with sea salt and peat smoke
Palate: Autumn fruits, dried figs, with smoky honey and dried spices
Finish: Smooth-sweet finish with oaky dryness and a gorgeous thread of salinity
