Description
This Laphroaig Cairdeas Madeira Cask 2016 Single Malt Whisky features fully-matured Laphroaig. First aged in ex-bourbon barrels before being married together for a second maturation in Madeira seasoned traditional hogsheads.
Bottled at 51.6% abv
Tasting Notes
Colour: light with reddish hues
Nose: ripe orange fruits and sweet liquorice moving into spices and dry, mixed peppers, and nuttiness
Palate: earthy with a hint of dry saltiness
Finish: creamy orange and bold, spicy dryness
