KILCHOMAN DISTILLERY Loch Gorm 2022

Loch Gorm is exclusively matured in Oloroso sherry casks from the renowned bodega, Jose Miguel Martin. It is common for distilleries to use a variety of sherry producers but for our consistent quality and character, it is vital that we source them all from just one bodega. We select a combination of sherry butts and hogsheads from Jose Miguel Martin that provides two separate styles of maturation.

Bottled at 46% abv.

Natural colour and non chill filtered

Tasting Notes

Colour: Rich copper

Nose: Intense sweet smoke, freshly cut strawberries and candied lemon peel. Lighter notes of Neroli, soft toffee and cloves.

Palate: Dark chocolate, toasted walnuts, a gentle smokiness, hints of caramel, dates and a subtle warming peat smoke.

Finish: Long with cinnamon and liquorice wood, chocolate bitters and lingering earthy smoke.
