Nose: Esters of apple, a little toasted biscuit, orchard fruits. It’s not going to punch you in the face with peat, but still a whiff of it. This relies more on its biscuit and fruit notes.
Palate: Leads with salinity and caramel macchiato. Light on the peat and citrus, but this helps keep it from tasting like iced coffee. A little water brings out more fruit.
Finish: Underlying and brooding smoke returns. Cocoa and a little more roasted coffee and oak.
