Description
Close to the entrance of The Glenmorangie Distillery is a huge boulder which local tradition maintains was hurled there by a giant. Many years ago it was inscribed by a distillery worker with the words ‘THE IMMORTAL WALTER SCOTT. OB 1832’ – a legend which later became part of Glenmorangie’s trademark. The association is appropriate. Both Scott and Glenmorangie are noble ambassadors for that which is best about Scotland.
Glenmorangie is the spirit of Scotland, created from the pure elements of the land itself, and celebrating its birthplace with every drop. Like Scott’s epic poetry, at once it stimulates and stirs the soul, relaxes and rewards, brings calm contemplation and deep satisfaction…
