GLENCADAM DISTILLERY 13 yo Batch 5 46% abv

The Glencadam Distillery was mothballed in 2000 and reopened in 2003. This 13 year old single malt has been bottled to mark 13 years since the distillery was revived and hence have named the bottle ‘The Reawakening’. Matured in American oak ex-Bourbon barrels for not less than 13 years and bottled at 46% abv.

Each of the 6000 bottles produced are individually numbered.

Tasting Notes

Colour: Amber

Nose: Aromatic stone fruits and baking spices overlapping vanilla pod, peach blossom and candied peels.

Palate: Creamy panna cotta, custard tarts and spiced apple mingled with golden raisin, agave nectar, and ginger biscuits.

Finish: Warming notes of sugared almonds, panettone and orchard fruits fading into a sweet spice linger.
