GLENALLACHIE DISTILLERY MacNair’s Lum Reek 10yo 55.4% abv Batch 1

A cask strength, ten year old, deliciously peated blended malt Scotch whisky from the MacNair’s Lum Reek range – and it’s the first batch of it, no less! Malt whiskies from across Speyside, the Highlands, and Islay, are blended with GlenAllachie, and left to mature in a combination of virgin oak casks, sherry casks, and wine barriques.

Bottled at 55.4% abv.

Tasting Notes

Colour: Mahogany

Nose: Red berries, smoky oak, brandy snaps, and baked earth.

Palate: Banana fritters, melted chocolate, sweet cinnamon and smoky paprika, caramelised peanuts.

Finish: Damson, caramel, and a final flourish of smoke.
