Description
Bottled exclusively for the distillery shop. Master Blender Billy Walker has elevated the complex Glenallachie spirit using rich Spanish Oak to craft this exquisite mahogany malt. Enjoying full maturation in Oloroso casks, the resulting spirit is abundant with warming notes of dried fruits, sweet spices and hints of rich cocoa. The whisky was monitored frequently to ensure the achievement of exceptional balance between wood and spirit influence, before bottling at cask strength for the ultimate flavour experience.
Colour: Rich Mahogany
Nose: Bursting with sweet cherries, butterscotch and porpourri, with waves of heather honey, caramel and dried figs.
Taste: Lashings of caramel ice cream and honeycomb, followed by dried red berries, cinnamon and mocha on the finish.
