The aromas from this robust Speyside swagger from the glass showing heavy floral, honey and heather, wrapped in the sweet and spiced flavours one would hope from Moscatel wood.  The thickly textured palate brings a wave of flavours from cocktail cherries and walnuts to under ripe peach and honeyed toast, a little water shows a wiff of charcoal and perhaps more spices. Heavy textured whiskies often offer the best finish, and this is no exception with sweet Moscatel and vibrant fruits lingering long.

This is a limited release ‘Curated by Ewan McIlwraith’ as part of a rage of whiskies which have been hand selected by Ewan.  Natural colour, non-chill filtered, natural cask strength and limited release of just 157 bottles.  Bottled by Berry Brothers & Rudd.
