Description
Distilled in 2008 at Craigellachie, this 10 year old single malt was aged in 10 first-fill bourbon barrels. A decade later, it was bottled at 43% ABV by La Maison Du Whisky for the Artist Collective. The label features ‘Sur La Route’ by Emilie Chapelais, which sees a somewhat ominous although picturesque road, leading into a rather foggy valley.
Bottled at 43% abv.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Fresh and fruity apple, herbaceous notes and spicy ginger, with warming malty porridge and a good dollop of apricot jam.
Palate: Fresh hay, white flowers, chocolate and vanilla sponge cake, cocoa powder and buttery apricot pastries.
Finish: Delicate lavender, Mirabelle plum, coconut and a subtle medicinal note.
