Box American Oak is a peated whisky that was aged for around four-and-a-half years in bourbon casks before being finished for eight months in small charred virgin American-oak casks.

Tasting Notes

Colour: Tawny

Nose: Funky and spicy. Lots of North Carolina sweet barbecue sauce with tomatoes and spices.

Palate: More charcoal and barbecue sauce. A bit of saltwater kelp and fruit at the end.

Finish: Dry and peppery.
