Description
Blair Athol is located in the heart of the little town of Pitlochry in the Scottish Highlands. The distillery was founded in 1798 and is one of the oldest in Scotland.
This Single Malt Whiskey matured in Refill Sherry Hogsheads for 16 years, in 2013 Gordon & MacPhail filled the barrels from 1997 in the Connoisseurs Choice series.
Aroma: fresh with many citrus fruits – especially lemons and limes
Taste: To the citrus fruits comes a little chilli and dark chocolate – some ashes
Finish: long, fruity finish
