A famous Blair Athol, this Manager’s Dram 15-year-old was bottled at the end of 1996 from a single sherry cask at its exceptionally potent natural cask strength of 59.4%. Back in those days The Manager’s Dram casks were selected by a panel of all of United Distillers’ distillery managers, who each brought a sample from the best cask at their distilleries for the others to try.

This Manager’s Dram Blair Athol 15-year-old is alive with smoky bonfire notes, dry, leafy sherry with big notes of ginger, wet earth, dark chocolate, toasted nuts, muesli, camphor and mixed spices. These Manager’s Dram bottlings were only ever available to UD staff and VIPs and were never released for the general public, making them highly desirable for collectors.
