Bladnoch Distillery released this limited edition bottling for King Charles III’s Coronation on the 6th of May 2023, with only 289 bottles available.
Bladnoch Distillery Centre was opened by His Majesty King Charles III on 11th September 2019. In honour of his coronation date on 6th May 2023, our Master Distiller Dr. Nick Savage has selected this very specific one-of-a-kind Tokaji “King’s Wine” cask to mark this historic occasion. This is a whisky matured in casks with centuries of royal affiliation for quality.
A Whisky of Kings, the King of Whisky.
Nose: Floral and perfumed, with honey and tangerines.
Palate: Apricot jam with tangerines and subtle white pepper.
Finish: Thick and sugary with lasting warmth.
47.7% ABV – Distilled, Matured & Bottled in Scotland – Cask 1100. This is bottle number 251/289
