Description
A brilliant Balblair single malt, this particular expression was distilled back in 2005 at the Highland distillery, and filled into American oak bourbon casks, chosen by the distillery manager himself, John MacDonald. It was bottled in 2017 at 46% ABV, full of that classic fruity freshness that we’ve come to know from Balblair.
Nose: Honeyed apple and a smidge of vanilla, with lemon curd and boiled pear sweeties.
Palate: Lemon blossom and caramel digestives, alongside lemon shortbread and flamed orange peel.
Finish: Chewy lemon sweeties on a fresh, zesty finish, with a drizzle of floral honey.
